Its charming nose reveals notes of stewed pears and beeswax. It is racy and harmonious on the palate, with a lovely liveliness that gives it its straightforward, precise structure. Beautiful aromas of bitter almonds can be detected. The finish is full and generous, with a hint of freshness and a slight sweetness that gives it balance. This Johannisberg characterises the Chamoson terroir, which is both complex and rich. An expressive, flattering wine.

" The attractive aroma of ripe melon fills the silky, medium-bodied palate well, with a pronounced creaminess that creates a balance that Chardonnay lovers should find interesting. Although the acidity is at the lower end of the scale, the touch of bitterness on the finish lifts it nicely. Johannisberg is the Swiss name for sylvaner. Drink it or keep it. Published in 'Jamessuckling.com' in August 2022 - James Suckling (91/100).
