The Syrah d'Ardon ‘Rives Réserve de CAYAS’ comes from a single parcel with 40-45 year-old vines grown on pure schist. Fermented in new 500-litre barrels and aged in 222-litre casks for two years, the wine opens with an intense but elegant nose of black fruit intermixed with aromas of speck and discreet nougat. The palate is full-bodied, intense and lush, but also vital and nervous. This is a full-bodied Syrah, lively and even vibrantly fresh, with fine tannins and a long, aromatic finish.

Deep, luminous purple; concentrated on the palate with ripe but clearly present tannins. Can easily be served alongside an Hermitage or a Côte-Rôtie!
