Its bouquet is very complex, with a blend of red berries and elderberry. It is supple and fruity on the palate, with round, silky tannins.

Vinified in vat, Humagne Rouge is magnificently aromatic and open, with aromas of cherry, plum and black tea on the floral, fruity and elegant nose. The palate is juicy and round, with liquorice flavours and fine tannins that structure the intense, velvety fruit. This is a lovely, intense, almost sweet red, with the spiciness and maturity of a Southern Rhône wine.
